Mi chiamo Marco (alias “l’Avventuriero”), vivo da sempre nelle Marche e sin da giovanissimo
coltivo la passione per la fotografia amatoriale, soprattutto quella paesaggistica
e con particolare referenza all’ambiente montano: i suoi spazi, le sue forme, le
sue luci e la sua maestosità. Sono un amante del camminare e pratico regolarmente
da molti anni escursionismo e trekking a buon livello, sia nell’Appennino Centrale
che sulle Alpi. Camminare in montagna per me è più che uno sport o un hobby: è una
vera ragione di vita. E direi che fotografare è stata la naturale conseguenza del
mio peregrinare perchè, per me, catturare un immagine è prima di tutto trasmettere
un’emozione: quella che ciascuno vive in quel preciso momento e che mai più si ripeterà.
L’idea di riuscire in questa impresa è ciò che più mi da stimolo ed entusiasmo nel
fotografare, oltre al desiderio e al piacere di catturare scene e paesaggi mozzafiato
di una natura che sa sempre come sorprendermi e come stupirmi. Fino al 2009 per i
miei scatti ho sempre utilizzato fotocamere reflex analogiche (agli albori con Yashica
poi sempre con Nikon) con preferenza assoluta per la diapositiva (Velvia 50). Poi,
a causa di un infortunio, sono stato costretto a lasciare a casa i quasi tre chili
di materiale fotografico che abitualmente mi portavo in zaino, dovendo optare per
una soluzione decisamente più leggera: una bridge Nikon, la P80. I primi tempi non
ne fui troppo soddisfatto perchè questa non era fotografia, ma alla fine mi convinsi
(diciamo un po’ costretto per cause di forza maggiore) che una certa sensibilità
poteva ugualmente riuscire ad essere trasmessa anche con mezzi meno professionali.
Da dicembre 2012, dopo un lungo pensare, ho fatto il salto di qualità, tornando a
frequentare la vera fotografia grazie all’acquisto di una mirrorless: la Sony NEX
7 corredata dal fantastico Sony 16-

My name is Marco (alias ‘l’Avventuriero’) and I'm based in Marche, a region in the
center of Italy. I’m an amateur photographer since the young age. I love landscape,
mostly the mountain environment: its spaces, its forms, its lights and its stateliness.
I love walking too and regurarly I practice hiking and trekking since many years.
My favourite “game fields” are the Appennini and the Alps. Hiking on the mountains
is more than a sport or an hobby: it’s a real reason for living. And the photography
is the natural consequence of my trips because, first of all, an image means transmitting
emotions: all those that everybody lives in a particular situation and that will
be ever repeated. What gives me more incentive and enthusiasm in the photograph is
the idea of being able in this concern, as well as the desire and the pleasure
to capture breathtaking landscapes and scenes of the nature beacuse it always knows
how to surprise and amaze me. Up to 2009 for my shots I always used film cameras
(Yashica at first and Nikon after) with absolute preference for the slide (Velvia
50 professional film). Some years ago I had surgery on my knee and so I was forced
to leave at home the nearly three kilos of photographic material that I usually carried
on the rucksack, having to opt for a lighter solution: the Nikon’s P80 bridge camera.
At first I was not so happy about it because that camera doens’t feels me as a photographer.
But at the end I convinced myself that a bit of sensitivity could equally to be able
being transmitted by not professional cameras. Since December 2012, after a long
thinking, I changed, back to attend the real picture by buying a mirrorless system:
